Sailing The Pacific

Sailing the Pacific is about sailing the south and north pacific ocean on a sailing canoe. It tells you about what the waka is made of like the sails are made of leafs and they carry around sacred stone anchor. They used a double hulled dugout sailing canoe for long voyages, it tells you about how the Navigators used to follow the stars from morning to night and the sometimes the follow the birds if they can't see the island they follow it to it's nest. Al the navigators can look at the clouds and they can predict when storm or heavy rain is going to hit so the can prepare for it.

Questions:

  • I wonder they keep up with the birds (what if the fly to fast for them to see)
