- You have to fight hard for what you want
- Always have confidence and believe in yourself
- Never give up no matter what
The one thing I would like to know is why are women getting paid less then men

ReplyDeleteThank you for completing W1/D4/A1 about Serena and Venus Williams. I think it is so cool that they are both professional tennis players and their sisters! Did you know that they are both former number one female tennis players in the world, aren’t they the coolest?
You have shared some great advice that you have learned from watching youtube videos about Serna and Venus. I like that you acknowledged the idea that women get treated unfairly in the tennis world compared to the male tennis players. I would really like to understand why male athletes get paid more than female athletes, especially when they are playing the exact same sport.
There are a few differing thoughts on why there is a difference in pay than women. One thought it because women’s sport isn’t as popular as male sport. This means that there may not be as many people paying for tickets and watching it on tv. What are your thoughts about this idea? Can you think of any other reasons why men might get paid more?
